Therapy for Teens

It's easy to forget how difficult it can be to be a teenager. Adolescents today face tremendous pressure while navigating the uncertainty that comes with growing into young adulthood. Between academics, friendships, family expectations, social media, and questions about identity and the future, many teens can feel like lost and alone.

Having a space where they can speak openly, feel understood, and develop healthier ways of coping can make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Some of the concerns I commonly work with include:

  • Anxiety and stress

  • Depression and low mood

  • Social pressure and friendships

  • Academic pressure and performance concerns

  • Sports performance and performance anxiety

  • Self-esteem and confidence

  • Family conflict

  • Identity exploration

  • Substance use and experimentation with drugs or alcohol

  • Life transitions and preparing for adulthood
