Individual Counseling
Therapy is not about finding what is “wrong” with you.
Often, the parts of ourselves we dislike the most developed for a reason. They may have helped us survive, avoid pain, seek approval, or protect ourselves during moments when we had limited options.
My approach integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS/parts work), psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, CBT, ACT, and evidence-based techniques to explore not only what is happening in your life, but how these patterns came to be.
I believe healing happens through relationship. Many of our deepest wounds come from our relationships throughout our lives. Therapy offers a different kind of relationship; one where we can slow down, notice what happens in the room, and begin creating new ways of relating to yourself and others.
Together, we may explore:
understanding different parts of yourself
breaking recurring relationship patterns
processing painful experiences from the past
building self-compassion
reconnecting with the person you want to become
